fresh off of the Distinguish'd minds art expo.

"the cultivation of the west coast art scene,"
"music, dancing, poetry, clothing, food, and good people. just an on point event."
"i won't ever miss another event you throw."
"you guys are doing it not just for you, but for the right reasons, that truly helped in making it as special as it was."

those were just miniscule of the reviews we recieved from the Distinguish'd Minds Art Expo, as we attempted to do in cultivated the scene of art, and succeeded. We seen so many styles of art ranging from: hip hop, rnb, acoustics, light rock, dubbstepp, pop, contemporary dance, turf dancing, Brazilian dancing, krump, popping, light choreo, clothing, poetry, spoken word, and a lot of comical moments. i a room full of talent, not one performance fell by the waste side, every artist showed up, and rocked the house out of this world. it was very surprising, not one artist at all fumbled. it was  exciting, with super highlight performances, from family not friends from richmond, ca, as they supplied the crowd with spoken word, rnb hip hop and smooth soulful grooves. miss kristinalove from the fairfield area turned the stage up performing her sexy single, movie, heating up the crowd and stage. and most of all, teambackpacks very own jedi and shark sinatra rocked the stage with there original style keeping the bay area REAL hip hop scene alive. and just when we thought the show was over, we recieved a highlight performance from two of the bay area's up and coming turf style original dancers, strobe and scorpion, as seen on so you think you can dance, the George lopez show, and often in on youtube, and in san fransisco turning up any battle you can think of. home grown talents of rebecca and marcel, and the brothers duo anthony and andre, lifted our stage with their live acoustics leaving everyone in awe at the talent, with vallejo's el negro and pryro the banga flipped the script with an original bay area hip hop style. dj nicwats rocked the building with his master dj'ing skills as well. all for an amazing cause of the widower's children foundation, who played a large part in supplying us with food, and assitance.
the best part of the expo was the love of every art form. it was truly a cultivation of arts, allowing for so much networking and talent to be mixed, and you guys will most likely be seeing it continue to grow as more events come along. we are prepping for the Distinguish'd minds art expo 2 here shortly be prepared to preorder your tickets, as we will sell out and looking to have numbers in the 1,000's. artists if interested feel free to contact us as soon as possible to be put on the card.
